Spartan Logistics is seeking an experienced full-time Customer Service Representative (CSR) to work in our Columbus, OH warehouse. To begin with...this is not a call center position. Interviews will be conducted right away to hire.The Customer Service Representative is responsible for managing the daily operation of the shipping and receiving office within the warehouse. The CSR will coordinate with the warehouse supervisors on a daily basis, and also be available for administrative support.
Warehouse Customer Service Representative~
Spartan Logistics is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to work in our Lockbourne, OH warehouse during the Monday - Friday 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm shift.You are the primary contact with carriers and our customers, and accordingly must have a heart for helping people, being organized, and a pleasant disposition. One on one customer relations, excellent computer skills, and accuracy of data entry is critical to success in this position, including receipts, and inbound and outbound shipments, adjustments, payroll, and billing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and WMS (Warehouse Management System) is required. You will also be involved in the scheduling of inbound and outbound carriers and general office duties. You will have the ability to multi-task and be very organized. You will be an assistant in all things to the manager in smoothly operating this location, solving problems, and minimizing costs.
What you must have:
At least two years of direct working experience and a dependable work ethic. Because of the high value of the inventory, character and integrity will not be compromised. Willingness to stay until the job is done. Attention to detail in all aspects of the job especially data entry and inventory control. We require a positive, problem-solving, service-centered attitude, as a disciplined mindset to follow procedures, and to develop procedures when necessary, and in addition, creativity for improving how things work.
Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
