Class A CDL Driver and Warehouse Helper- Laurens, SC

Who we are: Spartan Logistics is a regional provider of world-class third party logistics services. Our locations are within 1 day delivery to 2/3 of the population and manufacturing capacity of the US. 

Class-A CDL Driver will complete routes from our warehouse, drop & hook. Must have 2 years of CDL driving experience and license in good standing.

***Willing to work in warehouse on off days.***

- 40 hours/week

- 2 days a week deliveries

- No-touch freight, all 53’ dry van trailers

- Mostly drop and hook pickups and deliveries, occasional live load or unload.

Requirements:

• Valid Class-A CDL License required.
• Safe driving history (CSA). MVR evaluation will consist of a valid driver's license with no major violations within the past three years and knowledge of record keeping. Major convictions include DUI, DWI, hit and run, homicide or assault, suspension or revocation, and reckless driving. No more than two moving violations or at-fault accidents or combinations of violations/accidents within the past three years.
• Professional in appearance and attitude and promote respect for company vehicles
• With the high value of inventory, character and integrity will not be compromised. A background and credit check will be required.
• Willingness to stay until the job is done with a cheerful attitude
• Attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
• Required to wear steel-toed boots or equivalent safety shoes.

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, you will frequently be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.

Experience: Two-years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
